How To Register for Voters Card Online In Nigeria at INEC Portal

 

   According to Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC], all Nigeria citizen who are yet to register for Voters Card and he/She is +18 can now proceed online to register via online INEC voters registration platform. 

  The online registration exercise began on 28th June 2021, all you need is your android or iOS phone, data subscriptions and follow the instructions below;

Below are the steps to take :

 1. Prospective candidate are to register using online INEC platform https://cvr.inec.gov.ng or https://cvr.inecnigeria.org for pre-registration.

 2. Click on sign in/Register

 3. Create an account by enter your first name, last name, mobile number, valid email address, choose password.

 4. An automatic activation link will be sent to the valid email address used during registration in the first step.

 5. Next is to click on the link and will automatically redirect you to activate your account in other to proceed with your registration.

 6. Continue your registration by fill an online form with all your relevant information.

 7. Once you have fill all the necessary information and is successfully.

 8. Each prospective candidate are to choose date and time when he/She would visit any of the INEC registration center for final step which is the biometric capture.

 9. Return to the registration portal and click Submit, once the submission successful.

 10. You're to print out your Application Slip which contains the following information;

•    QR code
•    Application number
•    Name and others.

Note; a date will be noted on the print out slip. Meaning the day when you're to go for biometric capture. 

  Follow your successful registration, a slip will be presented to you which you will use for the collection of your permanent Voters Card. (PVC)

  

  Tips

•   The registration strictly for 18 year years and above provided he/she has not registered before.
•   Prospective candidate who has problem with his/her permanent Voters Card can correct it.
•   Citizens who want to change the location of their voters card due change in the location.
•   Citizens who want has an error data such as name, date of birth, state e.t.c can correct it.
